Human Resources Manager

  • Provide direction and leadership to group/department including people management as follows:  managing performance; addressing disciplinary issues; hiring; assisting people with career development; communicating information to direct reports, passing information up the management chain and fostering open communication; ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing goals/objectives; administrative processing; and, maintaining trust and confidentiality while fostering a team environment
  • Working as a business partner with the operating management at the facility, develop strategies to deliver and communicate staffing, training, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and retention programs in support of the facility plans and the goals, objectives and policies established by the Human
  • Resources Group
  • Act as a role model for walking the talk of our MBM (Market-Based Management) philosophy and in line with the Guiding Principles and must lead by example
  • Communicate new or changed policies and benefits to the work force
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of human resource policies and programs 
  • May be responsible for leading a team in the design and development of individual company-wide policies and/or programs
  • Determine people needs with facility management team and assist hiring managers with the recruitment process
  • Work with the management team at the facility on issues to ensure organizational alignment and individual accountability within facilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Investigate and resolves people issues and concerns of fairness, ethical violations, discrimination, harassment or illegal acts
  • Work with facility management to set training goals and develop and implement a plan to meet them

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • B.S. degree in human resources field with 7-10 years of related experience,
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects/programs
